The sheriff of Teller County has put in his resignation.
Sheriff Mike Ensminger handed over his written notification to resign to the Board of County Commissioners on May 16.
Ensminger is planning to take a job offer with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office to be their new Director of Training.
His last day is expected to
be May 29.
Individuals qualified and interested in being considered for the job are asked to submit a letter of interest to the Teller County Board of County Commissioners, either in person at 112 N. A Street, Cripple Creek, CO 80814, or electronically at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All letters of interest are to be received no later than noon on Monday, May 22, 2017.
